Letztes Jahr wurde der Stuttgarter Fotograph Stephan Zirwes für seine überragende Pool-Serie von 2015 mit dem Sony World Photography Awards ausgezeichnet. Im Rahmen einer Kunstaktion sind nun seine Pools in nahezu in original Größe geprinted auf dem Londoner Granary Square (King’s Cross) gelandet – darunter auch das Botnanger MTV Freibad.
„In den Coronazeiten sind die Wasserspiele (begehbare Fontainen etc) nicht in Betrieb und so hat man verschiedene Motive von Künstlern riesengroß auf den Boden geprintet„, so Stephan. Die virtuellen Pools sind noch bis Ende August zu sehen.

We know the fountains are a favourite with everyone, sadly, they must remain closed for the time being to stay Covid-secure. Instead, why not visit this the striking installation and enjoy some safe and responsible summer fun.
The two pools each span the length and width of one of the iconic Granary Square fountain bays and sit alongside other playful installations including a 2D maze, a giant word search and a series of hopscotch paths to be discovered across the estate.
